Gemini Bio Products recently completed a second expansion of their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that produces cell culture medias and cell solutions used in serums. supplements, reagents and other medical applications. Gemini has invested $15m to expand and add more than 55,000 square feet of space to their state-of-the-art facility built in 2019. The company also announced a new partnership with ZellBio GmbH to expand service to it's European customers. The City of West Sacramento thanks Gemini Bio Products for their investment and commitment in West Sacramento.
Permanent Supportive 住房 Project Opens
A new permanent supportive housing (PSH) project has transformed the boulevard at 1801 West Capitol Avenue. The once blighted property is now home to 85 units of affordable, supportive service-oriented housing for people at risk of, or experiencing homelessness in West Sacramento. The property includes a large courtyard, community rooms, and onsite case management and resident services provided by Communicare and Mercy 住房 CA.

In accordance with Senate Bill 115, applications are no longer open for the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program. State law extends eviction protections until June 30,2022 for qualifying applications received by March 31. But eviction protections do not extend for non-payment of rent after March 31. That means tenants must pay rent and utility bills beginning April 1.
